2012 Qualifier Information
Welcome to the National Indoor Tournament qualifying process. We are looking forward to another exciting indoor season, with qualifiers beginning December 18 and running through February 5, 2012. In order to earn a spot in the National Indoor Tournament teams must attend an Indoor qualifier.
The number of U19 teams that will earn a spot in the National Indoor Tournament from a qualifier has increased to the top 30% of the teams that enter. While this will make fewer spaces available in the lottery, it will ensure that the best teams advance to the premier indoor tournament of the year. The U16 teams will continue to send the top 25% to the National Indoor Tournament.
The U19 National Indoor Tournament will be held in Virginia Beach, March 2-4, 2012 with the U14 and U16 National Indoor Tournament being held a week after, March 9-11, 2012 in Richmond, VA.
The qualification process for U14 teams will be on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be active on Monday, January 16th at 8:00am MT. Click here for more details and instructions on how to register.

To apply for a Qualifier the team must:
- Complete an application (one per team) by October 28, 2011
- Pay the $100 processing fee per application
Understand that:
- Application does not guarantee a spot. Assignments are made on a first come, first serve basis
- Whenever possible, qualifying tournament sites are limited to 2 teams per club
- Athletes are limited to attending one Qualifier
- Deadline to submit application is October 28, 2011.
- Application must be received in the USA Field Hockey National Office by October 28, 2011. No exceptions.
When teams are assigned an Indoor Qualifier?
- Expect your Qualifier assignment on or around November 18, 2011
- Entry packet will be sent to you from the host site you have been assigned a Qualifying Tournament
