Discover Field Hockey
What is Discover Field Hockey?
Discovery Field Hockey is a 90-minute set price introductory clinic for boys and girls who have never participated in field hockey previously or have had limited exposure to the sport. Boys and girls learn from USA Field Hockey Coach Members using an approved curriculum. The 90-minute clinic provides boys and girls with a fun, active and learner-centered approach to the game.
Discover Field Hockey Clinics are a successful way to grow field hockey in your area for your school, club or team. A specially designed introductory program focuses on fun and fundamentals. Participants are ready to continue playing after the clinic.
All Starz programs are able to take advantage of Discover Clincs as well! Growing Hockey ID All Starz is easy with the USA Field Hockey Discover clinics.
Who is it for?
Boys and girls, ages 5 to 14 who want to discover field hockey for the first time!
What is the cost?
The cost is $30 per participant. All players receive, and can take home, their own starter player kit with everything they need to participate in the clinic:
- Field hockey learn to play stick sized for them
- GO Ball
- USA Field Hockey logo t-shirt
- USA Field Hockey logo drawstring bag
- 2-Week USA Field Hockey Membership

How can I host a clinic?
Hosting a Discover Field Hockey Clinic is easy and a great way to grow the game in your area. If you are interested in running a Discover Field Hockey Clinic or Discover All Starz Field Hockey Clinic, please apply for a clinic by clicking here. Please reach out at least 8 weeks in advance of the potential clinic date.
