  • In the summer of 2028, Los Angeles will welcome the world for an unparalleled Olympic and Paralympic Games experience as the best athletes in field hockey from around the globe compete on the biggest stage in sports.

  • Opening Ceremony

    Olympic Games Opening Ceremony: July 14, 2028 

    Field Hockey action is slated to start on July 15, 2028.

    Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony: August 15, 2028 

    Field Hockey is not currently a Paralympic sport.

  • Venue

    The Fields in Carson, Calif. are currently used as training grounds for the LA Galaxy and will be transformed into a world-class temporary hockey venue for Los Angeles 2028.

  • Passing the Torch

    On August 10, 2024, the torch was passed from Paris 2024 to LA28, starting the countdown!
