Welcome to U.S. Masters Field Hockey
Field hockey is for life, and it's never too late to play.
If you're 35 or older, whether you're an experienced player or new to the sport, you're invited to join U.S. Masters Field Hockey. With opportunities to play locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally, there's a place for everyone in the Masters community.

U.S. Masters Teams are proudly endorsed by USA Field Hockey for both outdoor and indoor international competition, in accordance with the:
- International Hockey Federation (FIH)
- Pan American Hockey Federation (PAHF)
- World Masters Hockey (WMH)
USA Field Hockey exclusively supports the self-funded U.S. Masters Men’s and Women’s Committees in their mission to grow and represent Masters field hockey on the world stage.
How It Works
The U.S. Masters Men’s and Women’s Committees work in partnership with USA Field Hockey to:
- Promote and grow Masters hockey nationwide
- Organize competitive opportunities
- Select and coach teams
- Lead Team USA to international competitions

Growing the Game
Masters hockey is expanding rapidly around the world, with many countries now hosting national leagues and age-based competitions.
U.S. Masters has seen exciting growth, with more teams participating in:
- World Masters Hockey (WMH) events (ages 35–60)
- World Grand Masters Association (WGMA) events (ages 60+)
Competitions are held in 5-year age divisions, starting at 35–39, 40–44, and continuing all the way up to 80+.
