USA Field Hockey National Club of the Year Award - is presented to the USA Field Hockey Member Club who has excelled on and off the field of play. This club has demonstrated skills on the pitch that are recognized by their peers and fans, but equally important they have shown their passion for hockey and sportsmanship off the pitch. They have used field hockey to make an impression on the lives of others and brought opportunity to their community.

  • Recognized USA Field Hockey All Starz organization
  • Field hockey portion implemented in 2021 by Melissa Ponzio (originally Able Lacrosse founded in 2020 which grew ad adapted to Able Athletics in 2022)
  • At the forefront of a groundbreaking sports-wide initiative aimed at introducing adaptive field hockey to individuals with diverse abilities
  • Has grown tremendously in its three seasons
  • Hosts and showcases athletes' progress and skill development at the All Starz Showcase at the U-16 National Indoor Tournament the past two years
  • First full time field hockey club in Fort Worth, Texas, founded in 2019
  • Continually goes above and beyond to help the growth the of the sport in Texas, often times combining with Houston Velocity to make sure teams attend regional and national events
  • Offers opportunities for U-10 through U-19 athletes

  • Founded in 2018 by Bri Price – has grown it from 3 coaches to 64 athletes to 23 coaches and 365 athletes
  • Purchased the facility PA United Sports in October 2023
  • PA United is starting its 5th season and is a high level Club in the Central Pennsylvania area. All the U10-U19 teams participated in the National Indoor Tournament for the last 4 years. The U16 and U19 Team participated in the RCC Tournament and Shooting Star Tournaments the past three years (Both U16 and U19 Teams won the Shooting Star Tournament the last two years. U14 won the Shooting Star Tournament in 2023
  • Inclusive of Maggie Kutz (Penn State Harrisburg athlete with down syndrome) – as an athlete and photographer
  • Open to kindergartens to high school athletes. Invites alumna to come back and train during the off season
  • Donates to Annville-Cleona, Eastern Lebanon County School, Palmyra High School silent auction for a father daughter dance, Palmyra Rec to help local community members and offers free clinic to introduce field hockey to young girls.

  • Provides year round training and competition opportunities for girls and boys who are interested in learning and growing as field hockey athletes, teammates and contributing to the field hockey community, while having fun in the process.
  • competed nationally at the Disney Showcase (Orlando, FL), U.S. Field Hockey Club Championship (Virginia), National Hockey Festival (Florida) and regionally at the Junior High Pumpkin Classic (Chicago, IL), University of Louisville Cardinal Classic and Northwestern 7v7 tournament
  • Endeavor to have each participant, grow in a fun and developmentally appropriate environment across all age groups ages 8 – 18.

  • Transformative and growing club that is dedicated to player development, and emphasis on a positive, supportive environment
  • comprised of players that range in ages from 8 to 18 years old
  • The class of 2025 will have nine players from six high schools going on to play in college
  • Continues to grow and progress at regionals and nationals
  • celebrated the completion of their 7th year of the Recreation League, which remains a vital part of introducing young athletes to the sport.
