The Regional Club Championships serve as qualifying tournaments for the elite 2013 National Club Championships to be held at National Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va., July 13-18. Beginning in 2012, club teams must compete in a Regional Championship in order to earn a spot at the National Club Championship. Regional qualifiers identify the best club teams in the country to compete at the premier National Championship event for honors and bragging rights of being the top U-19 and U-16 club field hockey team in the nation. Last year, Spirit of USA and WC Eagles were named the U-16 and U-19 National Club Champions, respectively.
The Regional Club Championships run from March 16 through May 12 and enable every club from the eleven regions to have an opportunity to advance to the National Club Championship.
