The seventh edition of the FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup will take place February 3 to 9, 2025 at Žatika Sport Centre in Poreč, Croatia.
12 teams will be competing in both the men’s and women’s competitions, all aiming to follow in the footsteps of Austria (men) and Netherlands (women), who were crowned champions at the 2023 Indoor World Cup that took place in Pretoria, South Africa.

Žatika Sport Centre is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Poreč, Croatia. It was built for the needs of the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship, and formally opened on November 21, 2008. Total area of the hall is about 14,000 square meters, and it has a total seating capacity of around 3,700.

The top-8 teams from across the three pools will qualify for the quarterfinals, while the remaining teams will play in the 9-12 position playoffs.

The U.S. Women's National Indoor Team clinched their return to the FIH Indoor Hockey Women's World Cup in March 2024 in a thrilling fashion after defeating Argentina in a shootout at the Indoor Pan American Cup.
In the 2018 edition, USA finished in 10th, while in 2023 they placed 9th.
In 2025, two milestones were achieved as USA earned the highest finish ever as the women's team in the United States and Pan American region, finishing 7th!
