COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is excited to announce that two umpires and one technical official will represent USA in the 2024-25 FIH Hockey Pro League season.
For the upcoming Argentina leg of the 2024-25 FIH Hockey Pro League season, taking place in Santiago del Estero from December 10 to 15, Benjamin Peters will represent USA as an umpire. He will be joined by USA Field Hockey’s Director of Umpiring Sean Rapaport, who will represent South Africa.
At the second Argentina leg, set for February 19 to 23 in Santiago del Estero, Maggie Giddens has been appointed as an umpire and Lurah Hess as a technical official.

Continuing her streak, Giddens has been appointed to every FIH Hockey Pro League season, which first began in 2019. She has represented USA at numerous high-profile events, including the 2024 FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier in Valencia, Spain this past January and the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile last November. Other prominent past appointments for Giddens include the 2022 FIH Hockey Women’s World Cup and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Rapaport will be representing South Africa at the FIH Hockey Pro League for the sixth year running after making his Olympic debut this summer at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
