COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is grateful and pleased to announce that after four successful years of sponsorship and collaboration, Osaka Hockey will continue to support the organization in a premier sponsorship role with two exciting sponsorships beginning in 2025.

First, Osaka Hockey will continue as the presenting sponsor for Nexus, USA Field Hockey’s Olympic Development Pathway program, providing equipment and apparel to the program. Second, in a newly developed capacity, Osaka will serve USA Field Hockey as the Official Equipment Supplier, providing much-needed equipment such as sticks, balls, turf shoes, gloves, corner masks, knee guards, on-field equipment, coaching tools, and more to the U.S. National Teams of all levels.

“Osaka is beyond excited to renew our partnership with USA Field Hockey and prepare for another Olympic journey with the national teams,” said Valentin Debouche, Osaka USA’s Executive Director. “Becoming the Official Equipment Supplier enables us to distribute and promote our core hero products, which are the reason for our global success. We will work in close collaboration with the coaches and athletes to develop the products they need and support them on their path to LA2028. This agreement perfectly aligns with our objective of becoming the number one field hockey brand in the nation. USA Field Hockey shares our commitment to growing the sport across the country and making field hockey more attractive for current and new players. We see an incredible opportunity to expand our footprint and bring more top-of-the-line products to market.”

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Osaka,” said Simon Hoskins, USA Field Hockey’s Executive Director. “Their equipment is among the best in our sport and fitting to be used by our U.S. National Team programs.”

“The relationship with Osaka is one of deep mutual respect and partnership,” said Ginger Wheeler, USA Field Hockey’s Commercial Partnership and Marketing Manager. “Osaka worked tirelessly over the past four years to provide apparel and kit for our national team athletes, with exciting success in international competition.”

The U.S. National Teams saw much success while donning the Osaka kit. In 2023, the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team won a gold medal at the Junior Pan American Championship in Saint Michael, Barbados. In 2024, the U-21 USWNT finished on the medal stand again, claiming bronze. The U-21 USMNT battled for bronze in both years, finishing in fourth.

In January 2024, the U.S. Women’s National Team had a historic run at the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifier in Ranchi, India, upsetting higher-ranked teams en route to qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In March 2024, the U.S. Women’s National Indoor Team took gold at the Indoor Pan American Cup to qualify for the 2025 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup.

Osaka provided an array of Olympic support to help the USWNT with fundraising and events, including an outstanding USA-themed tracksuit in support of their Olympic Games experience.

“We’re thrilled to be continuing our relationship with additional Osaka support in the form of budget-relieving equipment for which USA Field Hockey is very grateful,” added Wheeler. “We look forward to the continued success of Osaka as an American brand in hockey as well as other sports like padel and pickleball.”

Osaka’s partnership also includes the opportunity for sports growth by providing entry-level equipment at a deeply discounted price for new programs. “We know the cost of entry into our sport is one of the biggest hurdles for new program growth,” said Sally Goggin, USA Field Hockey’s National Development Director. “If we can get sticks in hands and get a game going, we know we can get people playing the game at all levels and wanting to play more because field hockey is a tremendously fun, competitive, and engaging sport. Osaka’s support and help in providing new equipment is greatly welcomed.”

In addition to field hockey equipment, Osaka offers select items of sports apparel available at OsakaWorld.com and select retailers nationwide. Osaka will be vending at USA Field Hockey national tournaments and other events in 2025 and beyond. The equipment sponsorship, which runs until the end of 2029, will also help USA Field Hockey throughout the next quadrennial as preparations for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles ramp up sports development and growth toward continued international success.
