Registration for FAN 2025 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup Opens on Wednesday

PALMYRA, Pa. – USA Field Hockey and Female Athlete News (FAN), LLC are excited to share that registration for the 2025 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup will open this Wednesday, October 30 at 8:00 a.m. ET. It will close on Monday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET or early if all spots are filled.

Registration will be done through a Google Form, where teams will sign-up and provide information. Upon confirmation from FAN, a nonrefundable $400 deposit. The Google Form will be made available on usafieldhockey.com and the FAN website the morning of October 30.

The 2025 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup will be held July 22 to 24 at the In The Net Sports Complex in Palmyra, Pa. and offers playing opportunities for boys,  girls, men and women. The event will feature three divisions in each of the U-14, U-16 and U-19 Girls age groups: Beginners, Developing and Elite. There will be two divisions for the adult group in each gender: Social and Competitive. Following the initial announcement, a U-17 Boys Elite division was added. Colleges can enter as full teams and individuals looking to join a team can sign-up (see below for more information).

There is a four-game guarantee per team. Teams with the best records after the four-games will advance to championship brackets.

Dates: July 22, 23, 24, 2025

Times: 8:00 a.m. to 8:40 p.m. (age groups will play in waves)

Location: In The Net Sports Complex, Palmyra, Pa. 

Game: Two 15-minute halves, 2-minute halftime 

Players: (standard play) Four field players and a goalkeeper

Rules: FIH

Umpires: TBD and more information coming soon 

Cost: Youth, $975 per team; Adults, $900 per team

Registration:

Opens: Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. ET

Closes: Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. ET, or early if all spots are filled

Registration process: Complete the Google Form; FAN will confirm your registration; teams that secure their spots before June 1 will have a nonrefundable $400 deposit due upon signup. Teams that sign up between June 1 and June 30 will owe the entire balance upon signup. Team names, rosters, and coaches’ names are due by July 1. Coaches and teams will receive FIH rules in early July 2025.

Cancellation: Teams that want to play but are unable to complete early registration, FAN will keep your contact information and contact you closer to the event dates. There are limited spaces.

Schedule: Schedules will be supplied to teams by mid-May 2025. 

Individual Player fees: If you are looking to play and FAN finds a team for your placement, you will be contacted by Jana Benscoter. If you cancel more than 21 days before the tournament, you’ll receive a refund of your balance minus a $25 processing fee. If you cancel less than 21 days before the tournament, or if you cancel after being placed on a team, you won’t receive a refund. The total per individual youth is $97 and individual adult is $90.

Tournament cancellation: If the tournament is canceled due to unforeseen federal or state mandates, you'll receive a credit for the full tournament fee minus a $100 processing fee. The credit will be used for the 2026 National Hockey5s Chocolate Cup. 

Travel: Teams and individual players are responsible for their own travel, meals and hotel. FAN will have several food trucks on site during the tournament, as well as a concession stand. 

Accommodation: FAN recommends using the Hershey & Harrisburg Sports and Events Authority website.

Hersheypark: FAN is excited to offer every athlete, coach, umpire, vendor, and event attendee 50 percent off tickets. More information will come in May 2025.
