2025 Sunshine Showcase Preview

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – In three days, the Sunshine Showcase, presented by Team IP, returns! USA Field Hockey is thrilled to get back on the fields and welcome the largest event to date, hosted at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort. Here is a sneak peak of what's in store at the 2025 event.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, located at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, is one of the premier sites for amateur sports in the nation. The complex hosts more than 100 entertainment and sporting events each year and has accommodated 70 different sports featuring athletes from 70 different countries. Designed to provide professional, amateur and youth athletes with experiences synonymous with the names Disney and ESPN, the 220-acre facility features multiple competition venues, including 16 baseball/softball fields, a 9,500-seat ballpark, 18 multi-purpose outdoor fields for soccer, football and field hockey, three indoor venues for basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, dance and other indoor sports, a track & field facility and a cross country course.

Twelve vendors will be in attendance, including presenting sponsor Team IP, who will have all the official 2025 Sunshine Showcase gear! The vendors will also feature merchandise from USA Field Hockey’s new official apparel and kit provider, Capelli Sport.

Vendor Village will be open on Friday, January 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET; Saturday, January 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET; and Sunday, January 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. Be sure to stop by and support the vendors this weekend!

LineUP clinics will be available to Sunshine Showcase athletes in graduation years 2025-2029. Clinics will be 45-minutes long, running from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, January 24, and Saturday, January 25. Each session will be capped at just 14 field players and two goalkeepers, ensuring a personalized and intimate training experience. Players will have the opportunity to be coached by college coaches of their choice, providing personalized and impactful training sessions.

Athletes can register online in advance and up until 30 minutes before the clinic begins. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, The LineUP will offer complimentary college recruiting workshops and college coach panels for all Sunshine Showcase athletes and their parents. Team check-in will occur Thursday, January 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. Club administers and coaches, please bring ALL waivers and coach identification to team Check-In. Coaches must show a valid ID to receive wristbands.

If you are unable to make it to check-in during this time, please email events@usafieldhockey.com. Late check in will occur Friday, January 24 from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Coaches may head to the USA Field Hockey tent after team check in to complete coach check in (ID REQUIRED).
