USA Field Hockey's Nominating Committee Seeking One Independent Candidate

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey's Nominating Committee is seeking an independent candidate to fill one vacancy on the committee. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and resume to Emily Hewitt, USA Field Hockey's Director of Membership, Governance and Safe Sport, at ehewitt@usafieldhockey.com. The application deadline is Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

 

The incoming member of the Nominating Committee will serve a four-year term beginning Sunday, September 25, 2022.

 

The Nominating Committee is responsible for:

  • Identifying and evaluating prospective candidates for the Board;
  • Recommending or selecting individuals to serve on the Board;
  • Recommending as requested by the Board individuals to serve on various committees and task forces;
  • Consulting with the Ethics Committee with respect to vetting all nominations for potential conflicts of interest or other background issues;
  • Performing such other duties as assigned by the Board.

These Nominating Committee members shall be independent as defined in Section 5.6: Independence of the USA Field Hockey Bylaws, on pages 12-13. To read the Bylaws, please click here.
