Albini is a west coast standout in what is sometimes considered an east coast game. She joined the National Team in 2011 after a year spent on the Development Squad and a standout performance at the Women's National Championship. A graduate from Ohio University, Albini was a three-time All-MAC selection and ranks second in career goals at Ohio.
