Kentwell Adds to 2024-25 Junior, Development & Senior U.S. Women’s National Indoor Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a second in-person tryout on July 28, U.S. Women’s National Indoor Team Head Coach Jun Kentwell has added 17 athletes across the Junior, Development and Senior U.S. Women’s National Indoor Teams.

Mia Jones (Virginia Beach, Va.), Raya McHenry (Ashburn, Va.)

Both Jones and McHenry are new to the indoor program.

Lucy Adams (Andover, Mass.), Gabrielle Barraco (Allentown, Pa.), Milaw Clause (Stroudsburg, Pa.), Lila Stilley (Fall River, Mass.), Anyia Woods (Suffolk, Va.)

Milaw Clause (Stroudsburg, Pa.) was renamed to the development squad for the second year in a row, while both Lila Stilley (Fall River, Mass.) and Anyia Woods (Suffolk, Va.) transitioned from the junior team.

Charly Bruder (Malvern, Pa.), Ryleigh Heck (Ocean City, N.J.), Sarah Johnson (Lincoln University, Pa.), Natane King (Haverford, Pa.), Morgan Lala (Crestwood, Ky.), Camilla Lutte (Lower Gwynedd, Pa.), Sydney, Mandato (Telford, Pa.), Erin Matson (Chadds Ford, Pa.), Madison Orsi (Downingtown, Pa.), Elizabeth Tamburro (Phoenixville, Pa.)

Sarah Johnson (Lincoln University, Pa.), Sydney, Mandato (Telford, Pa.) and goalkeeper Elizabeth Tamburro (Phoenixville, Pa.) were renamed to the senior squad. Goalkeeper Natane King (Haverford, Pa.) made the transition from the development group, while Morgan Lala (Crestwood, Ky.) made the jump from the junior program up to the senior. Of these 10 additions, four were on the 2024 Indoor Pan American Cup (IPAC) team that claimed gold in the middle of March. They were Ryleigh Heck (Ocean City, N.J.), Johnson, Erin Matson (Chadds Ford, Pa.) and Tamburro.

These athletes were unable to attend the tryout on June 16. A third and final tryout will take place on December 14 for athletes who were unable to attend on June 16 or July 28.

Kentwell is also pleased to add former Indoor USWNT athlete, Allyson Fuller (Philadelphia, Pa.), to her coaching staff as an assistant coach to the senior squad and head coach of the development team.

There will be multiple training camps for the indoor program between now and March 2025. The senior squad will participate in the RohrMax Cup from December 30 to January 6 in Vienna, Austria before the 2025 FIH Indoor Hockey World Cup (IHWC) to be held February 3 to 9 in Poreč, Croatia. The junior and development teams will play in the annual CanAm Indoor Series tentatively scheduled for the third weekend in March 2025 in Canada.
