YOLO Sportswear Named NITQ & NIT Presenting Sponsor for 15th Consecutive Year

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is excited to announce that YOLO Sportswear has been named as the official presenting sponsor and exclusive souvenir apparel licensee of the 2025 and 2026 National Indoor Tournament Qualifiers (NITQ) and National Indoor Tournament (NIT). The upcoming NITQ start this December and continues into January 2025, culminating with the 2025 NIT in Lancaster, Pa., and Richmond, Va. over three weekends in February.

“It is always humbling when we think of the longevity of our support and commitment to USA Field Hockey,” said Chris Fechter, YOLO Sportswear Owner. “Over our many years, we have been blessed with opportunities that have allowed us to have a significant, while discreet, impact on the organization, the sport, and the many who play it. Since our first year in 1996 we have been a sponsor, in some form, of USA Field Hockey. We are honored to continue our support, and with this new agreement, we will have the unique title of ‘30-year consecutive sponsor,’ no small feat. We’re extremely proud of that!”

YOLO Sportswear has been an important partner to USA Field Hockey, including being the presenting sponsor of the NIT since 2010. Additionally, YOLO Sportswear has served as presenting sponsor of the National Club Championship (NCC), Regional Club Championships (RCC), and Summer Bash at the Beach (SBB) since 2021. YOLO Sportswear also supports and regularly attends the Sunshine Showcase and National Hockey Festival as a vendor.

“YOLO Sportswear continues to be an official USA Field Hockey licensee, selling a variety of USA Field Hockey branded apparel, and is a valued and important member of the field hockey community,” said Ginger Wheeler, USA Field Hockey’s Commercial Partnership and Marketing Manager. “YOLO Sportswear has served our members and their families well and knows the NIT and NITQ inside and out and we greatly value their loyalty and support of our sport and our organization. They have always done a great job for USA Field Hockey, and we are pleased they will continue that tenure.”

“Our passion for the National Indoor Tournament is different,” agreed Fechter. “We have been associated with this particular event, which has seen extraordinary growth over many years, longer than any other event we sponsor. We understand it, we understand the members' needs, and we know what is expected from us. As part of the field hockey community for over 28 years, we believe that a cultural connection to the sport is critical to creating long-lasting relationships. Because of our connection, we’ve earned trust and confidence which has helped us develop an exceptional reputation within the field hockey community. We will continue to work hard to exceed members expectations and to provide an exceptional event experience.”

The NITQ consists of 14 regional tournaments where athletes from clubs across the nation compete in the U-16 and U-19 girls age divisions for the honor of representing their team at the NIT. The NIT welcomes the top teams from each regional NITQ, in addition to teams of U-14 Co-Ed and Girls, U-12 Co-Ed, Boys, and Adults who register to compete for the honor of National Indoor Champion. Across all age divisions, more than 7,400 athletes participate in the NITQ and over 8,400 in the NIT – in addition to the hundreds of coaches and umpires. The events become family affairs with between one to four additional fans/family members per athlete attending each event.
