U-21 Women’s Athletes Selected to Advance to Second Junior National Camp
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a 3-day training camp held in Charlotte, N.C., the women’s Junior High Performance Staff have evaluated and finalized the list of U-21 women’s athletes invited to attend the second Junior National Camp (JNC).
"I am inspired by the level of talent displayed at camp," commented Ange Bradley, U-21 USWNT Head Coach. "Those advancing to the next stage have shown exceptional promise as we continue to shape the future of USA Field Hockey. Manuel and I are excited to move forward with this group and look forward to building a team that will represent our country with pride and excellence on the international stage.”
Taking place January 31 to February 2 on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC), these athletes will compete for selection to the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team. Once the U-21 USWNT roster has been named this spring, athletes will participate in multiple training camps, where they will compete for a spot on a travel squad for one of the several events the U-21 USWNT will be participating in this summer.
In 2025, U-21 USWNT athletes will be eligible to compete in any tours or friendlies that are scheduled with other countries, the Senior Nexus Championship in Virginia Beach in July, Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay in August, and the Junior World Cup in Chile in December.
