Region 5 Administrative Manager: Britney Ewan

Britney Ewan is in her first year as the USA Field Hockey Administration Manager for Region 5/6 after serving as a Lead coach and Site Director. She is currently the head coach at Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill, N.J. Since taking the helm in 2006, she has led the team to six Conference Championships, five Sectional Championships and two State Championships. Clearview Field Hockey is also regionally ranked and has been several times under her tenure. She has been named New Jersey “Coach of the Year” twice, South Jersey “Coach of the Year” four times and National Coach of the Year in 2019. She holds the most wins by a coach at Clearview and is 9th in New Jersey for most wins. She is the president of the South Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association and serves on the NJSIAA Field Hockey coaches panel.
Prior to coaching at Clearview, Britney played Division I field hockey after going through the USA Futures Program herself, competing at the National Tournament and Junior Olympics. She has her USA Field Hockey Level 2 coaching accreditation, coaches with Spirit of USA Field Hockey Club and resides in South Jersey with her family.
Region 5 Coach Manager: Chris Chookagian

Chris started his involvement coaching High Performance for USA Field Hockey at the 2019 AAU Junior Olympic Games. He then made the step into hosting a Futures Site in Region 5 and continued as a Nexus Coach each year since. Chris has coached multiple age groups from U-14 through Senior Nexus over the years in Regions 5 and 6 as well as at the Nexus Championship.
He coached collegiately at Lehigh University in 2019 and spent the last four years at Ursinus College. Chris also has been a coach for local Pennsylvania club, Souderton Strikers, since 2016 working across all the age groups. In 2021, he was selected to the U.S. Men's National Development Team and was recently selected named to the U.S. Men's National Indoor Team. Chris also is the club manager for a local adult club, Philly Premier Field Hockey Association, and is working to promote field hockey opportunities for men and women in the Greater Philadelphia Area throughout the year.
