BIO

When it comes to field hockey, the sport is a total family affair for the Gebharts. Laura's mom, and older sister both played collegiate field hockey and her aunt could be found on the pitch as well. Laura picked-up a stick at the age of 5 and has since become an integral member of the Lady Lions field hockey team at Penn State. She was a captain for the U-21 National Squad at the 2013 Australia Youth Olympic Festival and the U.S. Junior World Cup Squad. Laura uses her experiences at these events to learn from players throughout the world to integrate their tactics and styles into her own play.
